Update: August 2008
August 19: In the last week, Cayden has grown three molars! Two on the right, top and bottom and one on the left, bottom palette. We hardly noticed his discomfort when he was growing his "regular" front teeth (he's got 8 of those!). But with these 'big teeth' - he let us know. It's been a restless week at the Foreman household with fevers and sleepness nights. Poor Bee. We've applied kava and echinacea for relief - which seemed to help somewhat.
He's also been walking, even with leather shoes and summer sandals. It appears he is working on the running part, though, he'll take a few steps and flat on his face he goes! Mom and Dad are still marveling at how amazing life is, and watching in wonder as Baby Bee's development continues to blossom.

Update: July 2008
July 9: Baby Bee is standing, climbing and walking around the room (with the help of furniture and anyone's legs he can grab hold off!). He is about to take his first steps - and we are excited and scared at the same time. ...and we thought we couldn't take our eyes off him before. Now, we need to stay glued to him!
His "separation anxiety" phase still exists, but it doesn't take very long before he warms up to anyone who has good energy. Cayden checks everyone out with a "stare down" shown down (he usually wins, without blinking, even!). But, if you can get him to smile, you're in!

Update: April 2008
April 10: Cayden is 30 weeks old this week. His teeth all decided to sprout at once, at least it seems as though...he now has seven (yes, 7!) visible teeth ~ the 8th one is just on the other side of the gum. We really believe he is a one year old in a 7 month old body, although, that is questionable too. We count our blessings that he is so healthy and strong.
Since his 6th month, we have been signing with him, so that, in a few months (we hope) he will begin to sign back with us. For now, Cayden finds his outer voice he begins to respond to and even initiate sounds.
Cayden is still sleeping through the night and is now on homemade organic baby food to supplement his steady diet of milk. His favorite foods are sweet peas and sweet potatoes, though he also loves carrots and apples.
Developmentally, he is 'right on': making all sorts of noises with his lips and tongue, sitting, lounging forward, pulling himself up to standing with whoever or whatever is around. We are expecting him to crawl any time now :-) Go Cayden!
